Working through Jobxion
The professions of carpenter and concrete carpenter are covered by the construction collective bargaining agreement. The professions of plumber/installation technician and electrician are covered by the technical installation collective bargaining agreement. Please note that there are exceptions. This depends on the collective bargaining system of the company you will be working for, or the position you work in.
Yes, you accrue pension from the age of 21. We are affiliated with two pension funds, Stipp and AGB. Depending on your position and time in service, you fall into a category below:
- Stipp pension basic: with this you build up pension from 8 weeks worked.
- Stipp pension plus: with this you build up a pension from 52 weeks worked.
- Construction pension (APG): with this you build up a pension from 52 weeks worked if you are in the construction collective bargaining agreement.
Yes, if you drive more than 30km one way, you will be reimbursed for your travel hours.
Note: Only in the construction cao. In the small metal collective bargaining agreement, travel hours are not reimbursed.
We pay your salary weekly and we do this every Wednesday.
If you have your own transportation you will receive a travel allowance. If you drive more than 30 km one way, you will also be reimbursed for the travel hours. If you don’t have your own transportation, no problem. We are happy to look into driving a JobXion car. If so, no travel expenses will be reimbursed. As for travel hours, that’s the same as if you do have your own car. Good to know: You may not drive the car privately and you may be charged a co-payment. Discuss options with your contact person.
For migrant workers, we often arrange housing. We always try to provide housing within a driving distance of no more than 30km from the project.
You are entitled to 25 days of leave according to the NBBU. You save up these days and get paid what you have saved.
If you have a contract with a temp clause, you save up hours and get paid what you saved during the holidays. There is a maximum of 8 hours per recognized holiday. If you have a contract without an agency clause, you will be paid on recognized holidays.
Yes, there are 10 fixed days and 10 free days. The 10 fixed days are scheduled by Jobxion at the beginning of a year (consider leave around Christmas). The 10 free spendable days are paid by the hour.
